- 1 cup of mung beans
For over a thousand years, the mung bean drink has been used by the female elderly in Asia as a cure. Well known for its nourishing effect, the mung bean drink helps detoxify and purify the body. The chilled mung bean drink is especially popular in summer.
- Soak the mung beans overnight, drain the soaking water and place the beans into the AND SOY jug.
- Fill it with fresh cold water until in between both marks.
- Select program 1 and start.
- Sweeten with honey, agave syrup or raw sugar before serving.
- The leftover paste from the beans is a great dessert.
- You can also use this recipe for other bean types, e.g. azuki beans or black beans.
