• 1 cup of mung beans


For over a thousand years, the mung bean drink has been used by the female elderly in Asia as a cure. Well known for its nourishing effect, the mung bean drink helps detoxify and purify the body. The chilled mung bean drink is especially popular in summer.


  1. Soak the mung beans overnight, drain the soaking water and place the beans into the AND SOY jug.
  2. Fill it with fresh cold water until in between both marks.
  3. Select program 1 and start.
  4. Sweeten with honey, agave syrup or raw sugar before serving.
  5. The leftover paste from the beans is a great dessert.
  6. You can also use this recipe for other bean types, e.g. azuki beans or black beans.
