My daughter has braces now. Unfortunately, she cannot chew her favourite nibbles anymore, such as nuts, carrots and dried mango. What should she have as a snack? We baked these power balls together. They are delicious and crispy, ideal as a snack and for in between. Of course you can vary the ingredients according to your own taste.


  1. 250g almond leftovers (from the homemade almond milk)
  2. 150g coconut oil (liquid)
  3. 400g oatmeal (preferably homemade from ground oats)
  4. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  5. 2 tbsp coconut sugar


  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Form roughly 40 balls out of the mixture with lightly damp hands and roll them one by one in oatmeal.
  2. Bake in the oven at approx. 180°C for 30min.
