My daughter has braces now. Unfortunately, she cannot chew her favourite nibbles anymore, such as nuts, carrots and dried mango. What should she have as a snack? We baked these power balls together. They are delicious and crispy, ideal as a snack and for in between. Of course you can vary the ingredients according to your own taste.

  • 300g Okara (the soy pulp that was left over from the strainer when making soy milk)
  • 100g coconut oil (liquid)
  • 450g oats
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt

  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Form roughly 60 balls out of the mixture with lightly damp hands and roll them one by one in sesame seeds.
  2. Bake in the oven at approx. 180°C for 30min.
