• 1 1/2 cup black sesame
  • 1 1/2 cup rice
  • 1 pinch of ground vanilla


  1. In TCM and Ayurveda, black sesame seeds are a true blessing for health and well-being. It contains all the essential amino acids, has an optimal calcium-magnesium ratio and is rich in vitamin A, vitamin B, zinc, selenium, iron and lecithin.
  2. Black sesame congee is a popular Eastern Asian dish that is especially appreciated by children.
  3. Rice congee can be stored in the fridge for several days. Simply fill up hot, well-cleaned jars with the congee and cool as quickly as possible. You can heat the congee in portions with the addition of a little water. Serve as desired with sweet or savory condiments.


Add all ingredients to the AND SOY blender, fill it with cold water to the 1,3L mark.

Select program 2 and start.

Then sweeten the congee with coconut sugar, maple syrup or honey.

Garnish as desired with roasted nuts, seeds, almond paste or fresh fruits.
