Oats contain many valuable ingredients and is definitely the regional superfood. It protects the heart and intestines and also helps with weight loss. How to use oats? The easiest way is to drink fresh homemade oat milk throughout the day, for breakfast or before the main meals. With the AND SOY cooking blender you can make oat milk  in no time!

  • 1 cup of soaked oats (approx. 50g)
  • 1 tsp linseed oil or sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

2 variations:

  1. Some say oats are the only grain that one can eat raw. To preserve this raw food quality, I use program 4 (lukewarm) or program 5 (cold). But then I think it tastes a little bitter.
  2. With program 2, the oats are cooked and pureed. I like this variation better. Cooked oats are creamy and sweet.
I only use whole grains for grain milk. Mainly because all of the commercially available cereal flakes - whether fine or coarse - as well as bran or groats are peeled, steamed and cooked before "flattened". This deactivates all lipolytic enzymes and allows for longer shelf life.
