Making a creamy risotto is also possible in the AND SOY cooking blender; without constant stirring.

Recipe (for 3-4 servings)

  • 2 measuring cups of whole grain rice
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp. Granulated broth
  • 1 carrot
  • Salt
  • optional: Yeast flakes or Parmesan & Butter

Preparation

  1. Add two measuring cups of whole grain rice with garlic, ginger, broth and diced carrot to the AND SOY.
  2. Pour water and cook in program 3.
  3. Open after cooking, stir well and add the remaining two measuring cups of rice.
  4. Cook again in program 3.

If desired, the finished risotto can now be refined with Parmesan and butter or vegan with margarine and yeast flakes. As a topping is fried or steamed vegetables of your choice.
